We continue to build our new BAS website. We would like to feature more
links to our members.

MEMBERS

If you have a website or a social media presence for your art, we would
like to link to it from our website, if you are willing. The current
version of the website does not have such a good gallery system yet as
the old one, and this will be the best way of showing off the huge range
of talent that our members have. We also want to create more of an
online community. Of course we hope you will link back to the Bromley
Art Society Website. www.bromleyartsociety.org.uk.

Please send an email to Jules jules.pew at gmail.com with your details.
Please include a VERY SHORT description of what you do. We may not use
that in the first instance.

Emily Brand and Sophie Lyons lead our own social media channels. Emily
is interested in short bios of members and similar copy.

MEMBERS WHO TEACH

We have been meaning to create a directory of local art teachers and
courses for some time. This is it! Please note it is intended for
teachers who are members only. Do encourage your students to join BAS!
As you know we welcome members of all levels of talent from beginners
upwards - and actually even non-painters who wish to see the
demonstrations.

Please send an email to Jules as above with your name, contact details
and a SHORT description of what you offer. Mediums, age and talent range
etc and geography. This is not the place for a long exposition and we
reserve the right to edit it - but if your contact details include a
website you can put the rest there. Please include an email address for
Jules to use, but we won't include those in the display to avoid spam
for you. At a later date we may be able to create a contact system that
is secure.

MEMBERS WHO EXHIBIT

We are happy to include members' exhibitions either on the website or in
these emails depending on our resources. Please email me for that
adrian at fowle.co.uk with the details

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR DETAILS

As a society we try to use only digital communications with members.
This is cheaper and better for the environment and nearly everyone can
manage this now. We collect your name, postal address, telephone number
and email address as a member and ask you to check them every year at
renewal. We do not use these details in the membership database for any
purpose other than running the society and contacting members. We also
ask for details of your preferred media and art types. We use this
occasionally to ensure we provide talks of interest to members. We may
also need your expertise if you have an unusual artistic interest. We do
not provide these details to third parties.

If you also provide your details for links to websites, social media or
teaching information, as in this email,  then we will put those on a
publicly accessible part of the website and / or in our own social media
presence.
