BAS Demo. evening

The BAS programme of demonstrations kicked off by scoring a goal, probably more than one. Robin Mackervoy's still life in oils was a masterpiece of instruction and brushwork. Everyone, from novice to pro., must have gained from such an outstanding player. His closing word, "I have enjoyed myself," was something that we all need to remember. If we are not enjoying slapping paint on, why do it?

With Robin's permission I have attached a copy of his picture to this blog. He was at pains to point out that it is incomplete, but I think it shows what a professional can do in 2 hrs, whilst also entertaining us.
I shall take pains to point out that this was a quick camera-phone shot in poor lighting!
