It is time to present me with items for the next issue of The Easel. Comments re. commissioned work would be relevant following John's piece in the Autumn issue. Note to new members: a personal profile will introduce you to members, include a photo (head and shoulders), and a pic of one of your pieces of work, whatever it is you make. Be bold!

Call for copy
The latest communications from The Mall Galleries, The Tate, and The Royal Academy have all been avidly read and I'm gung-ho to visit the current exhibitions. One of the painters with whom I am becoming more acquined is Dadd and he keeps appearing. One of his pieces shown at the Watercolour exhibition is extraordinary and pops into my mind when I least expect it. Wonderful detail in the water. Lovely! So, who is off to the current shows? Who will send me their criticism/s? I'm waiting...
