Howard Behrens began drawing as a child. At the age of 8, he received a 
brush and paint as a gift, and since his parents could not afford to buy 
him toys or go out for expensive entertainment, the page and the brush 
turned into a stage where he learned to express all the places he wanted 
to visit and all the experiences he wanted to go through.
