Dear All
I am pleased to announce the first in a number of exhibitions that we have planned for 2023 (of which more in coming days). I hope you will join us to make this first one a great success.
On Sunday 2 July BAS will take a stall in the main Gingham Goose Summer Craft Market as well as a separate exhibition space in the Building. This gives us an opportunity to showcase your work and the Society’s activities both at the stall and in a larger exhibition. Gingham Goose events are well attended with a strong track record in the area.
There is no theme to the exhibition, so any subject is welcome provided it is fit for a family audience. The room we will be using as a gallery has plenty of space so the only restriction is the size of our exhibition screens.
More detailed information will follow next week but timings are planned as follows. The attached word file gives some additional information about exhibiting.
Please let us know by 7 June that you would like to take part by responding to bromleyartsocietyevents at gmail.com that you are planning to take part and let us know any questions you may have as we want to make sure as many people as possible can take part.
Deborah
Timings of the exhibition are planned to be as follows:
Wednesday 7June
Confirm intention to take part.
We are planning to meet with the Warren next week and will share final arrangements and forms following that meeting.
Wednesday 14 June
Make payment to confirm participation.
Friday 23 June
Return details of work to be hung on screens (unframed work information can be provided on the day)
Sunday 2nd July
8-10am Exhibition set up. A list of unframed work should be brought with your work. The hung work form must be returned in advance.
9.30am-1.30pm and 1.30-5.30pm Steward exhibition
4-5.30pm take down exhibition and pack work.
Not everyone will be required to steward but we will need a minimum of 4 people stewarding at any time due to there being 2 locations within the building.
We very much hope that most Artists will deliver and hang their work personally. If this is a problem for you please let us know as we want to make sure that as many people as possible take part, and we may be able to organise collection and drop off arrangements.
Cost is expected to be £15 per screen or £4 per work, there will be the possibility to include unframed work.
We need assistance with putting screens up and taking them down. If you can help please let us know.

If you are unfamiliar with The Warren it’s website is here https://www.mpthewarren.com/. Travel details can be found at the bottom of the page
