This Friday Deborah has suggested the subject of "Spring".

In the words of the great Spike Milligan

Spring is sprung, the grass is riz.
I wonder where the birdies is.
They say the birdies on the wing, but that's absurd.
I always thought the wing was on the bird.

You are invited to show art works that are inspired by the Spring (or 
maybe birds)…

I am writing to you from Storyvault Films, producers of the television 
series *Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year*. We are searching 
currently for artists to take part in the ninth series, and I wanted to 
reach out to see if you would be interested in taking part? Please 
accept our apologies if you have already been contacted about this by 
another member of the team.

The series will be filmed in incredibly scenic locations around the UK 
over the course of this Spring and Summer. The competition is open to 
both professional and amateur artists in the UK and Ireland working 
across any medium except digital, photography, video, or sculpture. To 
apply, submit a landscape artwork created within the last five years to 
our website:

The deadline for applying is *Friday 28th April 2023.**

  The prize is a *£10,000 commission* for a major British institution.
