I attach last years AGM minutes and accounts for 2021 that both need 
approving at the meeting. We will also need to re-elect officers of the 
committee.

*This year Adrian is standing down as chairman after many years of 
excellent service to Bromley Art Society and comments:*

"At this AGM I shall stand down as your chairman. It has been a 
privilege to chair the society, but all good things must come to an end. 
I wrote recently to ask for volunteers to join the committee - not 
directly to replace me,  but to increase the pool of ideas on the 
committee and people to help. One member has responded, for which I 
thank you on behalf of the society. But we need more! Without more 
support, BAS is in danger of collapsing."

I echo Adrian's appeal as there is only so much that a small committee 
can offer membership with limited resources. So if you are able to do so 
please get in touch even if its just to attend, observe and contribute 
your ideas.

This years AGM will be followed by an short entertaining 
demonstration**entitled:

*"Just Zsuzsanna, a canvas and the kitchen sink".*

Immediately following our AGM Zsuzsanna will be providing a short 
entertaining "Seascape" demo. Look out for some unusual approaches!

Zsuzsanna happends to be launching her outdoor painting class in Petts 
Wood tomorrow. Details below. Please contact Zsuzsanna if you are

**This class will help you get started painting outdoors, if you love 
nature and feel—like I do—that the inspiration out there when it 
surrounds you and back at home when your painting gear is, well, it’s 
just not the same.

One of the most revolutionary ideas of the great Impressionists were to 
paint fresh, out-of-doors, from life, whatever the circumstances.

Now, I understand those ‘whatever circumstances’ are a bit scary to 
tackle. Hence this class. Learn to:

-prepare the gear you need (no standard equipment for everyone, it is 
individual to your needs)

-choose the right palette of colours for your project

-find the best place to paint from

-do quick sketches in ink and wash

-do small studies in watercolour or acrylics

-create the full painting in acrylics

-take home the inspiration to carry on your work

-develop your artwork in one go (all prima) or over several sessions.

Friendly, small group class, weather permitting: in awful conditions we 
revert to Zoom and you get a link to the recording.
