[BAS Newsletter] Beckenham Arts Trail

Dear Members,

A big thank you to all who attended and contributed to last Fridays four 
corners event. Pictures and details of the event will follow soon.

Some of you are already aware but we wanted to let you know about the 
Beckenham Arts Trail that is running from 4th to 7th August 2022. The 
closing date for applications is 30th June. Please visit the following

As well as members applying individually we thought you may wish to have 
the opportunity to be part of a unified BAS presence for one of the 
stops on the trail if you don't have space in your house. We are 
currently registering our interest for BAS to be part of the event on 
behalf of our members. So if you are interested in being part of the BAS 
stop please let us know.

However ....

We need someone from Bromley Art Society to make this happen with the 
help of our guidance. Deborah, our master of exhibitions, does not have 
bandwidth as Deborah is fully occupied with the BPP exhibition and other 
commitments. Deborah and I will guide, help and support someone who is 
able lead this event for us. The committee is stretched to breaking 
point at the moment so if you think you can help please email Deborah or

There are many successful art trails in neighbouring boroughs but 
Bromley is sadly lacking until now. This is a fantastic opportunity for 
BAS to become an integral part of it.

Whilst we are on the subject of help we really need some help more 
generally on our committee. For instance Jan our Secretary is stepping 
down from her post this year after any years of excellent service. If 
you can come along, contribute and or minute meetings please let us
