Dear All

2 pieces of news today

The Corbett Christmas Fair

Thanks to those who have registered an interest in joining us at the Corbett Christmas Market. If you missed the original email this will be a small exhibition within a much larger Christmas fair across the Corbett Library, St Andrews Church and Church hall which is already being advertised widely in the local area. I have just heard that there are 50 stalls across the venues + our exhibition so it should be good.

If you haven’t made contact yet we still have room for 2-3 Artists taking a full board and for anyone who might wish to exhibit single works. We would love to see you there.

I am relying on BAS members to help share the word so please let me know if you would like a copy of the poster or social media templates to share with your contacts. You will also find them on our website, instagram and Facebook sites - addresses at the end of this email

For those of you who might be thinking of taking part I have attached the updated exhibition guidance, this is also on the website.
If you have already signed up I have sent you the handing in forms so please let me know if they haven’t arrived.

It should be a fun day so hope to see some of you there.

One Step Greener - Tell us your top 3

Thank you to everyone who submitted a work for the One Step Greener Exhibition. As usual there was a wide range of creative responses and in many cases Artists submitted more than one work. To accommodate this we would like you to vote for the artists whose work you feel best expressed the theme rather than a specific work. Please tell us by Monday 29th November the Artist names for your 3 favourite works in order of preference:
The competition entries can be found here: https://www.bromleyartsociety.org.uk/project-tag/one-step-greener/ <https://www.bromleyartsociety.org.uk/project-tag/one-step-greener/>

If you hold the cursor over the image you will be able to see the Artists name.
If you double click on the image you will there will the opportunity to see images of the artist’s work and any information the Artist has added about it. As mentioned above a number of people submitted more than one work so it is worth scrolling down to see more.

We will collate the results and share the winners at the Christmas First Friday on 3rd December.

Please reply to exhibitions at bromleyartsociety.org.uk <mailto:exhibitions at bromleyartsociety.org.uk>

The next challenge will be "A Postcard from 2021" Look out for more information coming soon. Also remember that members can also have their work on the members gallery page - details of how to submit work is also online

As usual any questions please let me know

Deborah
