[BAS Newsletter] Beckenham Place Park Art Show Sunday 1 August

Hi All

Don’t forget that the Beckenham Place Park Show will happen on Sunday 1 Augsut 12-7. The Art Show element will be taking over three rooms in the mansion and will have a great range of work on show inlcuding landscapes, floral work, dog portraits and abstract works. There are many BAS menmbers showing their work, including Colin and Nishad who have done recent First Friday Demos. The Exhibition will include Nishad’s demo painting so if you would like to see it in the flesh this is a great opportunity. Most Artists also have their work on the dedicated exhibition website that also includes Artists who are taking part in the oline exhibition only. http://www.bppartshow.com <http://www.bppartshow.com/>

The show itself also includes a Flower Show, a Dog Show, Many stalls and Musical performances. A rough time table is 

Stalls start trading 12pm
Art Exhibition opens 12pm
Flower show marquee opens to public 12:30
Talk from guide dogs charity in the dog show arena 2pm 
Dog show 3-4:30pm
Announcing the flower show results 5pm
 
Live music throughout the afternoon 12.30-7pm

There is still time to enter the flower show (entries close on the 27th) and you can enter  the dog show on the day

If you are coming it is probably best to use public transport if you can or maybe park in Beckenham and walk in as the park’s carpark is likely to be overwhelmed,  and for once it looks like there is no engineering work taking place on the railways. But travel information is available online. So please come and support your fellow Artists and just have a great day.
