ADULT ART COMPETITION

GRAND PRIZE £100 CASH

SUBJECT – ROYALTY

To celebrate the QUEENS DIAMOND JUBLIEE we are pleased to announce our Art Competition. Works should be based on your own interpretation of Royalty. Paintings/drawings and 3 dimensional items are acceptable.

Conditions of Entry:

Adults only: You must be 18 years of age or over.

Submission fee: £5 per item. All submission fees are non-refundable.

Closing date: 2^nd June 2012 (exhibits will be displayed from 2-9^th June at the gallery). Please send in your submission forms as soon as possible as there are a maximum number of 80 art works or paintings accepted. Juding will take place on 9^th June.

Please deliver your paintings and payment to the gallery before 2^nd June.

Subject/Medium: The subject is ROYALTY and can be in any medium. All entries must be framed (unless box canvas) and strung ready for hanging. The work may be rejected for poor presentation and the submission fee would not be refundable.

You may offer your work for sale and your full details (Name, telephone number and price) should be printed on the back of the work. The gallery will deduct 20% commission on sales.

Work will be exhibited during the week of 2^nd-9^th June so please ensure your work can stay at the gallery for the duration. All works must be collected during the week beginning 11^th June and must be collected before 16^th June. The gallery reserves the right to dispose of uncollected works.

Volunteers/Staff at the gallery may not enter and any artist associated with the gallery administration may not enter.

Judging will be by an independent Judging panel.

All funds/proceeds will help the gallery develop its Community Arts Project.
