    <p>Dear Members and friends</p>

    <p>Firstly I must apologise for missing the Art Matters and 1st

      Friday demo / talk on Friday's during June. My family coerced me

      into a last minute holiday opportunity in Cornwall and my nephew

      decided to return from New Zealand celebrate his birthday to

      announce his forthcoming marriage. Family responsibilities aye. I

      hear John did a fabulous job hosting the 1st Friday. Thank you

      John. Our next 1st Friday meeting at the Daylight Inn has been

      delayed until the 12th July as there is, I understand a football

      match the previous week. I will let you know when our next Art

      Matters will be.<br>

    </p>

    <p>Secondly and far more importantly our St Georges Exhibition,

      Bickley, organised for the first time, entirely by the people

      attending our Wednesday Art Sessions, is underway and worth a

      visit. They have worked very hard over the past weeks and have

      done fabulously. <br>

    </p>

    <p>This Thursday by luck the adjacent church hall is a voting

      station so we hope to capture some of that footfall if we can. We

      are just a little short of volunteers though for that evening. We

      would like to stay open until 7.30pm on Thursday (if the Vicar

      agrees) but we need people to help steward during that time.</p>

    <p>If you can please help (and see the exhibition at the same time!)
