    <p><b>Art Matters</b><br>

    </p>

    <p>Unfortunately this Friday's Art Matters for June has had to be

      postponed. Hopefully we can recommence for July.</p>

    <p><b>Summer exhibition at St George's Church.</b></p>

    <p>Final preparations are being made for our summer exhibition to be

      held at St George's Bickley this year. Please come along and

      support your local art society.<br>

    <p><b>2024 Financial accounts update</b></p>

    <p>Bromley Art Societies' 2024 financial accounts have now been

      completed and approved by your committee. They show we are

      financially sound particularly after an excellent year in 2023.</p>

    <p>Apologies for not being able to include them in our AGM in April

      but they will be presented for members approval along with the

      financial account for 2024 in our next AGM. In the meantime they

      are available to view on request.<br>

    <p><b>Workshop Opportunities - a final call<br>

      </b></p>

    <p>Depending on demand I intend to hold one or two Workshops at St

      George's Church Hall, Bickley.  We will hire a professional local

      artist for the day to conduct a workshop to meet fellow artists

      and develop your skills. These are likely to be held during August

      as a one day event from 10:30am - 3:30pm on a Monday, Tuesday or

      Wednesday depending on which day is more popular. The price

      charged will reflect the number of people and the cost of hosting

      the event. I would like to think the cost will be less than £30

      per person for the day.<br>

      <li>Your preference to which day, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.</li>

      <li>An idea of what subjects you would prefer for the workshop  ie

        Watercolour, Acrylic, Oils,  people, landscapes, abstracts

        etc....</li>

    <p> If I have enough people this will be fantastic day for members

      and friends in a spacious venue with plenty of parking and

      refreshment facilities.</p>
