Dear Member,

This Friday May 6th our 1st Friday Demonstration.

This Friday we have another exclusive interactive demonstration
for our members by Tom Shepherd. Tom started off his art career
creating custom artwork on guitars using graffiti pens. Making a
move towards a brush and more traditional mediums opened up a
whole new world to Tom, and he hasn’t looked back since. He loves
to paint in acrylics and oils, and more recently has started
exploring watercolour. Whilst Tom loves painting a wide variety of
subjects, especially if the light is doing something interesting,
he is always drawn back to the place where his first two passions
met; painting wildlife, in particular birds.

See his website here https://www.tomshepherdart.com/

Please join us in the leisure of your own home in what could be
our last exclusive Zoom demonstration before we go back to a live
venue in June and have the opportunity to meet up in person again
(more on that soon).

Art Matters - "Maps" Friday 20th May

This month’s Art Matters is on the theme of Maps. You could make
an art work with maps, or create a map of a journey or maybe a
fictional journey? There are a lot of creative opportunities. Do
you have a view on the map as an art work?

St Mary's Exhibition.

Come along and support our exhibition at St Mary's Church. Many
of you may remember this venue from before lockdown. This is the
return to our first "traditional" exhibition for members this
year.
