discussion - "My favourite or interesting piece of art in 2021"
discussion Friday 14th Jan 2022.</div>
<p><font class="">For our first meeting we have a joint First
Friday/Arts Matters Meeting. Hopefully everyone produced
something in 2021 that they are particularly proud of - here is
your chance to share it with your fellow Society members. We are
happy for you to share your screen, send a photo to Paul and I
beforehand or holding up to the screen. No need to have done
your homework (though we hope you will) to come along and be
inspired. <br>

<p><b><font class="" color="#0d0200">A reminder for our "Postcard
from 2021" challenge.<br>
</font></b></p>
<div class=""><font class="" color="#0d0200">We would also like to
announce our next online Challenge - this will be on the theme
of “A Postcard from 2021” It is not necessary for the image to
be on an actual postcard - just postcard shaped (Google tells me
the standard UK postcard is A6 or 5.8x4.2 inches or 148mm by
105mm (this is the same format as A5, A4 etc). Full instructions
will go out soon but will be similar to the most recent
challenge. The closing date will be mid February but I ham happy
to post to a gallery on the website before then. Results will be
announced at our AGM Friday 4th March.<br>

<div>"The 2022 Beckenham Place Show will take place on the last
Sunday in July - subject to the usual caveats of Covid etc. .
Planning for this is starting this month and we have our first
meeting with the park in a couple of weeks. We will definitely
need more help organising the exhibition this year, so if you
are able to join us please let Emily and I know and you can join
from the start. We will share information about how to take
part, 2022’s theme etc. later in the year".<br>

<div>It has been a difficult couple of years since 2020. Although
we are planning more events in 2022 tailored to suit a variety
of members interests we are more than ever dependant on your
continued membership. We have some great ideas but we are
