[BAS Newsletter] February's 1st Friday event

Dear Members and friends,

*1st Friday.*

Today would have been our February 1st Friday event but this time around 
we have decided to try something a little different. As a society we are 
continuing to try and bring artist's together. We do this by offering a 
range of activities that hopefully suit some of the artistic talents and 
diverse interests of our members. We have seen that many are interested 
in developing their portraiture skills and utilising online groups to 
hone and share their skills.

For February we are going to try our own relaxed online portraiture 
event from the comfort of your home. As in similar groups someone will 
volunteer to be the sitter for 3 - 5 mins where the rest of us have the 
opportunity to sketch the sitter. We plan to introduce a little bit of 
novelty to make our session relaxed and little different.

*We have scheduled this to be online on Friday 16th February at 7pm 
...but more details will follow.*

We would like to open this invite to not just our current members but 
also to friends of the society and past members who may be interested in 
joining us. It will be free to join us. Please let me know if you are 
interested in joining us by replying to membership at bromleyartsociety.org.uk.

this year and especially those that have contributed a little bit more 
to help the society continue bringing artist together in our society. 
This is primarily a voluntary society that, with your help in 2024, will 
continue to organise a diverse range of events designed to promote and 
stimulate your artistic interests and share our common interests.
