[BAS Newsletter] Bromley Art Society AGM and 2023 Membership

Dear Members,

Firstly a sincere thank you to all that were able to attend this years 
AGM at the Daylight Inn, and a big thank you to Diana for showing us how 
some of her fantastic work is created. There was a good turnout and I am 
happy to say that both of the proposed amendments to the constitution 
were unanimously approved by all attendees.

Please find attached a copy of the minutes that will need approving at 
the next AGM.

*Deborah Masters *was the well deserved winner of this years Pat Tucker 
cup for all her hard work in organising exhibitions and events and being 
a mainstay to the society over the past years. Well done Deborah! 
Deborah has also kindly taken over as the societies treasurer following 
the resignation of Jules. This has however left us short of key roles 
within our committee to help with organising events and exhibitions for 
our society going forward. Despite having a relatively healthy budget 
the role of Lead Exhibition and Events Organiser(s) is now vacant so we 
will struggle to stage any events without peoples help. We also urgently 
need someone to help promote our society through publicity and social 
media. If you know of someone that may be willing to help please contact 
myself or any of the committee. I am sure they will find it a very 
rewarding role and a great way to meet and help other artists.

*A reminder to all those that have yet to renew their membership for 
2023 please.*

To prevent me having to send out individual reminders to people please 
could all those that have yet to renew, or not advised me otherwise, 
renew in the next two weeks by following the instructions in the

members will still receive an email confirmation of your membership at a 
later date.
