Dear All
While planning for the Warren event is well underway, the following 3 future exhibitions for 2023 are being planned. They will be a lot of work but I hope you will join us in making them a success. Our first request is that you let us know if you will be able to commit to taking part in the Glades exhibition.
The Glades - July- August
Barring any last minute hiccups I am very pleased to announce that we have been offered a 6 week exhibition in a large empty shop in the Glades. We are still finalising this, but probably mid July to the end of August. This is a great opportunity and was very popular when we last exhibited there. I am expecting this to give us an opportunity to exhibit three dimensional art and cards as well as the traditional 2 dimensional art work. We will also hopefully be able to use the space for at least one private view and for demonstrations.
We will likely keep the 3 mini exhibition format that we used last time and will require participants to commit to c10-12 hours stewarding during their exhibition slot.
This is short notice so before we sign up we would appreciate it if you could let us know ASAP at bromleyartsocietyevents at gmail.com if this something you can commit to take part in.
The Paxton Centre
In October we have secured a one month exhibition in the Paxton Centre. This is a cafe and co-working space opposite Crystal Palace Station. Work will be hung on the cafe walls. There is no need to act on this one yet.
The Warren Christmas Fair
In December we are planning a return to the Warren exhibiting alongside the Christmas Gingham Goose Fair. Again no action to be taken yet but we hope you will support the forthcoming exhibiton and stall on 2 July.
All the above exhibitions will be for Bromley Art Society members so please spread the word to any friends that you think may wish to join us.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Deborah and Aferdita
