[BAS Newsletter] Landscape in Watercolour demonstration by Tim Wilmot Friday 7th May

Dear All,

*Next Friday's demo  at 7pm *is of a landscape or cityscape in 
watercolour by *Tim Wilmott*. Some examples of his work and a link to 
his website can be found at

(you will need to scroll down a little past previous months details).

During this demonstration you are invited to paint along with Tim if you 
wish. After the event, send us a photo of your painting (please within 7 
days of the event) and Tim will compile a short video with a critique!

Tim can cover the below subjects and answer your questions during the 
demo interactively as time allows:

- Improve composition
- Working with values
- Watercolour techniques
- Planning a painting
- Avoiding muddy watercolours
- What to leave out in a painting
- How to get more loose

*You are invited to send in any land or cityscape photos you, or a 
member of your family, have taken (maybe of a local scene) for Tim to 
consider for the subject of the demonstration.* He doesn't do portraits 
and pets (sorry). Please send your photos to Paul Stringfellow 
<membership at bromleyartsociety.org.uk>  by Wednesday 5th May, 7pm and 
will forward them onto Tim.

It could be an exciting demo.
