According to Wikipaedia "An atelier (French: [atəlje]) is the private
workshop or studio of a professional artist in the fine or decorative
arts where a principal master and a number of assistants, students, and
apprentices can work together producing fine art or visual art released
under the master's name or supervision."

I'm not sure if having a spouse who brings me refreshment counts, so I
make do with a simple studio.

We had a good general chat last Friday at the first BAS Online social
meeting via Zoom. We thought we would continue with more or less weekly
meetings during lockdown, with  themed meetings. This coming Friday
(15th Jan) we are going to be discussing studios. What do you have in
yours, what works and what doesn't? What would you like? and any other
questions of similar sort.

In following weeks we are going to try some simple drawing challenges
too, to be revealed only one week before. These should not distract from
your competition efforts!
