Dear all,

*This Friday Art Matters*

This Friday’s Art Matters meeting has the theme of Childhood Toys. You 
are invited to create a work of Art on the theme, or come along to talk 
about the representation of childhood or toys in Art. This follows on 
from the inspiration of Grayson Perry and Alan Measles but any creative 
interpretations welcome. I even know people who use clockwork toys as 
the method of applying paint…

*Demonstration Friday 7th May*

Next Friday 7th May will be an exciting Watercolour demonstration by Tim 
Wilmot from an image taken by yourselves. Followed in the following days 
by a separate art critique session if you would like to paint along .

*Art Matters "My Favourite Gallery" discussion.*

The Art Matters meeting on 14th May is planned to be a discussion one on 
the the theme of my favourite Gallery. With museums and Art galleries 
hopefully reopening in May this seems a good time for us to share our 
own favourite or recommend that little known hidden gem.

*Diana McKinnon exhibiting.*

BAS member Diana McKinnon is currently exhibiting at the Bluebell 
Festival at Riverhill. It is on until 3rd May.  Please note that timed 
tickets for the garden need to be booked.
