Our "First Friday" event this month will be a demonstration of portrait
drawing, by Colin Barnett.

Colin said about himself  "Colin Barnett is a London born amateur
artist, whose preferred medium is charcoal and graphite. His early
influence is Ras Daniel Heartman, the rastafarian artist from the
70's.Practicing Architecture in the 90s has taught him the technical
side of portraiture, which is his preferred subject matter."
but any of you who have seen his works will realise that that
description does not convey the vitality of his portraits. Despite that
he is a very methodical worker with a good grasp of art technology and
his approach will be quite clear and interesting.  I know this because
we have been rehearsing the Zoom technology and we have a new trick to
show you with our online demonstrations too.

One not to miss.

Colin's talk will start at 7pm this Friday 6th November. "The lines will
be open" as they say from 6.45 pm - do join us early and tell us what
you have been up to, or show us some works in progress.

I shall send the Zoom invitation separately.

Adrian
