Your committee met tonight. It will not surprise you that, in the wake 
of the Prime Minister's decrees today, Bromley Art Society has to join 
the national lockdown for the time being.

Of course we all deeply regret these changes.

 1. THERE WILL BE NO WEDNESDAY GROUP TOMORROW
 2. Other Wednesday meetings will be cancelled
 3. Our First Friday meetings will be cancelled.
 4. The forthcoming exhibition at Ripley will also be cancelled. Deborah
    and Jules will write separately with news of refunds.

On the plus side, our plans for a better website are at last taking 
shape, and the lockdown will allow us time to implement them, we hope. 
We would like to take advantage of the situation to create a more lively 
and interactive presence on line, perhaps with tutorials for our members 
instead of demonstrations.

I wanted to get this information out quickly. I will write again if 
there are changes to the plan or if we have further suggestions.
