[BAS Newsletter] First call

I thought you would appreciate a note at the beginning of the weekend 
about our next meeting. It will include a bring and buy sale and will 
start earlier than usual.

It will start at 7 pm at Ripley.

Please donate any art-related items that you don't want - perhaps from 
Christmas? We shall sell them at reduced but not giveaway prices to 
raise money for BAS. We need to start thinking about replacing our 
exhibition screens and projector. So you have time to go scrabbling in 
your loft to find it all.

More notes about the program will follow on Sunday or Monday.

Dont forget that Deborah would like to have all Ripley Exhibition 
applications by Friday, she is happy to collect those on Friday after 
the AGM if you would rather not post them.

She will also bring along some A4 and A5 flyers and we would really 
appreciate it if people were able to take some and get them displayed in 
local cafes, supermarkets etc. If anyone needs a file copy for sharing 
on their social media etc please let us know.  To date these have been 
circulated to libraries and should be on display at the Glades. The 
poster is also on our website and facebook page.

To answer some of the questions that have been raised recently - it is 
not essential to provide a photo of your work - though it makes it 
easier to publicise the exhibition if you can. Also if you are 
struggling with completing the form online it is OK to put the 
information in an email or to send by post. She also says that there is 
still one shelf left for 3 dimensional work.

Dont forget that handing in is on 23rd March and the Private View on the 
30th. We’d love to see you there. All exhibition matters should go to 
basexhibitions at gmail.com

Other exhibitions are progressing behind the scenes and we will 
communicate more in the next month or so.
